One Finalist each month
Twelve Finalists annually. Relevant, career-specific next-step support may be offered where resources and practical feasibility allow.
One Golden Ticket Winner
An intended longer-term commitment to a child's career pathway, subject to available resources and practical feasibility.
Membership is optional and completely separate. It never improves a child's chances of selection. No funding, placement or outcome is guaranteed.
Before you nominate
Please complete this form as an adult nominator. You only need the child's first name, age, State/Territory, postcode and a brief description of their career dream.
Privacy and child safety
Dream Kids Australia collects this information to assess and manage nominations, communicate with adult nominators and administer the program. Information may be shared only with people or service providers who reasonably need it for these purposes, or where required by law.
Do not provide the child's contact details, photographs, identity documents, medical information or sensitive personal histories. Use your own adult contact details.
You may nominate before guardian permission is obtained. Appropriate guardian involvement and permissions must be resolved before relevant progression, direct child contact or participation. Publicity requires separate informed guardian consent and, where appropriate, the child's agreement.
Nomination information is not a newsletter subscription. You may contact DKA about access, correction or deletion of information. Read the Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab) and Nomination Terms below before completing the acknowledgements.
Nomination Terms — please read before submitting
- You are aged 18 or over and have a genuine connection to, or reasonable knowledge of, the nominated child. The information you provide must be accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- The child is school-aged and lives in Australia. Initial nomination is free and does not require DKA membership or existing guardian permission.
- Appropriate parent or legal guardian consent is required before the child progresses to relevant participation. Submission itself does not authorise direct child contact, activities or publicity.
- A nomination remains active beyond its submission month. Receipt is not selection and does not guarantee follow-up, funding, opportunities, placements or support.
- DKA may verify information and decline, pause or withdraw a nomination where information cannot be verified, consent is unavailable, eligibility is not met or progression would not be appropriate.
- Selection is made by DKA in accordance with its published process and children's best interests, privacy and safety. Membership, Directory access, donations or purchases do not improve selection chances.
- Do not publicly represent the child as a DKA Finalist or Winner unless DKA has formally confirmed that status. Information will not be used for publicity without separate appropriate permissions.
